The quality of Brian's workmanship is evident from the pictures. He did a spectacular job. What is not evident is how hard Brian and his crew worked to finish the construction on time, how organized he is, and how he strived to build exactly what we wanted. Nor is his attention to detail, his expertise in antique woods, and his ability to listen evident. Also you can’t see the enthusiasm and pride Brian brought to the job every day and his ability to hammer out details with a NYC designer. Most importantly it is not evident how much fun it was to work with Brian. It is one of the reasons many of his clients consider him a good friend.

We recently completed a revitalization of our home. In this task we performed two sizable additions and rebuilt the remaining interior of the main floor. In addition we replaced our exterior trim, decks, sidewall and roof. I am happy to write a testimonial regarding the work of Brian Burbic and his team.

Having built several homes, we had a pretty good idea on what we wanted and were somewhat resistant to the ideas of others. Brian Burbic offered suggestions and options we had never considered. From symmetry to flow he improved our ideas and created a much better product than we could have conceived.

From an artistic view, the approach is very personal to Brian Burbic. I’ve seen him lay out dozens of boards looking for the right pattern, tone, and movement in a piece of wood. This comes together dramatically in the end.

From a construction standpoint, there were no shortcuts. Built-ins and cabinets were created with solid framing and the best hardware. The carpentry is impeccable, fasteners are solid and invisible. The finish is flawless whether painted or varnished.

Overall we are very satisfied with the final product. We have a house that has exceeded our expectations from both a design and functional standpoint. We highly recommend Brian Burbic and his team for his custom, hand built construction as well as his artistic design.

Sincerely,
John and Julie Willis

I just wanted you to know that it has been a pleasure to work with you on our family compound on Nantucket. We really appreciate your incredible gift for creating beautiful and unique details in the “built-ins” you created for our home. It is rare and wonderful to work with someone who is both so talented and such a pleasure to work with.

I would be happy to give a verbal or written recommendation regarding your work with future clients. Thank you! We really appreciate everything that you have done for our family.

Sincerest Regards,
Lee Bordes

Dear Brian:

I just want to take the time to thank you for the amazing carpentry work you did for us on our new house. We are so happy with the design and quality of the cabinets, moldings, countertops, floors, doors, vanities, builtins, and all of the trim work you did for us. Everything is solid, beautifully finished, unique and classic. You are a true craftsman, and the attention you paid to all of the small details has paid off in our beautiful new home. The best compliment I get from people seeing it for the first time is that it doesn’t feel like a new home. That is exactly the feeling I was hoping to achieve.

It was so easy to work on designing things with you. When I new what I wanted, I just showed you a picture and you recreated it. When I wasn’t quite sure, you had so many good ideas. And when I still wasn’t sure, the drawings and small scale mock-ups you made really helped me to see what things would look like in the end. You are very easy to work with, completely trustworthy, reliable, a great communicator, and were focused on finding solutions, not dwelling on problems, as they came up in the course of the job. I appreciate how well you coordinated with the plumbers, electricians, and other subs to keep the job on schedule. Your way of working extended to your crew as well. They were friendly, thoughtful guys who cared about doing a good job. So, thank you, so much, from our family to you, for helping to make our dream a reality.

Dear Brian:

Just a note to tell you how much we appreciated the outstanding work you and your crew did in renovating our home this year. You made it easy to work together from the initial steps in planning the renovation to the final finish work on the custom cabinets. Most importantly, your ongoing communication with us throughout the project eliminated any surprises and resulted in a job that exceeded our expectations.

Since completion of the project we have received many compliments on the exceptional quality of the work performed. In addition to the wonderful cook’s kitchen, rustic stone fireplace and beautiful mahogany cabinets, people have also praised the small details such as the outstanding finish on the painted woodwork. Our neighbors were also very pleased with how conscientious the crew was regarding work hours, noise, and cleanliness throughout the project.

When renovating a home one never knows what twists and turns a project may take. Thanks to your leadership and the efforts of your team, we were very happy with the process and are thrilled with the outcome, our beautiful new home. Thanks again for helping to turn a “rotten egg” into our “Easter egg”.

Sincerely,
Doug and Diana Prince

Dear Brian:

I want to thank you yet again for the magnificent work you created in our house on Nantucket. You know I truly enjoyed the process, our communication, discussions, and then the amazing final product, but what I did not know at the time was how the gift of fine craftsmanship continues to give over the years. Every time I walk into the house, I can not help but admire all the details which make all the difference: clean lines, exacting angles, working drawers, flush doors, thoughtful function, and a paint job that is the envy of every person who has ever walked through the door. The quality continues to astound me.

You are a pleasure to work with, and I am sure that your relentless perfectionism and omnipresent desire to please will continue to produce happy clients.

Best of luck,
Karen Gagnier

Just a quick note to say thank you for all of your help in designing and constructing our basement home theatre, bar and game room. Your exquisite eye for classic design and quality craftsmanship turned our blank slate into a warm, wonderful family space that will be cherished and enjoyed for years to come. The space we started with came with many challenges and limitations, and we feel that you helped us optimize the final product during every step of the process, resulting in a fabulous family space that exceeded our expectations.

We will be contacting you soon for our next project.
